The NCVT together with other organisations jointly had a peace walk in Rabie-Ridge to raise awareness against Women and Children Abuse. Our aim is to have a Gender-Based Violence free society.
Womens Month Event
August 2021
“The National Children & Violence Trust in commemoration of Women’s Month held an outdoor awareness campaign on Wednesday, 18th August 2021,under the theme: Realizing Women’s Rights for Equal. The event was in Zandspruit, Umthonjeni Centre and aimed to emancipate women and advocate that women should not be marginalized but should have equal opportunities. The event observed all non-pharmaceutical measures to curb the spread of COVID 19”
Child Protection Week

“The NCVT wrapped up Child Protection Week under the theme:” Let’s all protect children during COVID-19 and beyond” in Diepsloot on Friday, 11th June 2021. The purpose of the campaign was to make children aware of their rights and responsibilities and also to prevent the abuse during COVID-19. The awareness was also aimed at reminding the community about the importance of protecting children against all forms of abuse”.
